Peter Symonds College is a sixth form college in Winchester, Hampshire, in the south of England. Originally founded as a boys’ grammar school, it is one of the few specialist sixth form colleges which is also a boarding school and is the biggest sixth form college in the UK.
In 2022, the college increased its learning space by building a modern, 2 storey block with 12 classrooms.
As part of this project, Regal Balustrades was contracted to supply and fit a bespoke Architectural Balustrade and Stainless Steel handrail on the 2 flights of stairs.
With specific design requirements, Regal worked closely with Ascia Construction to deliver a representation to the architects design intent showcasing the ability to be flexible in our approach to design concepts and turn them into reality.
Regal provided the complete solution – from initial concept stage, to providing full detailed drawings, manufacturing of the balustrade and installing, resulting in an easy, hassle-free experience for the customer.
